unable to figure out a way to re-download a digital booklet for an album that I've had to delete/redownload. Info: Mac OS X (10.7.3)
I recently bought an album on iTunes that included a digital booklet. Usually, digital booklets show up in your iTunes music library as a PDF. However, when I copied the album and Digital Booklet to another of my computers by the "add to library" menu option, the music was correctly placed in the Music library, but the digital booklet went into the Books library in iTunes and I cannot move it to the Music library where it should be. Is there a setting preventing me from doing so? Information: Mac Book Pro Mac OS X (10.6.5)
I don't have a computer on which to convert a digital booklet in iTunes to a useable form for iBooks. Why won't it download using the cloud like all the other media I purchase on my ipad? Info: iPad mini Wi-Fi
why won't my digital movie that is in iTunes download to my ipad
I don't spend money on apps. In three years I've spent 99 cents. It's true. I prefer the free ones.Music is my thing.I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on music in the iTunes store, and most of the albums come with a digital art file. It can be viewed in iTunes, but I NEVER listen to music on my laptop. I get that the digital booklets are too small to be of any value on the iPhone and on the iPod. But what about on my iPad????? I want to see the booklets, dammit.
I bought a full season of a tv show in iTunes on my iPad, and spent a good amount of time downloading it. Now, I went to sync it to iTunes, and can't get the episodes to sync. Now, before buying the season, I didn't check the box that specifies "sync tv shows" on the iPad, as I didn't realize I needed to. don't want to redownload them, or lose them. I also don't want to have to repurchase them.
I can't seem to redownload my purchased songs after the IOS 5.1.1 update on my Ipad. They stand as bought, but it seems like I can't download them? Can it really be true that I can't get my songs back? Info:iPad 2, iOS 5.1.1, They stand as purchased in Itunes
I downloaded songs through itunes on my iphone 3gs today (I usually download them on my computer and then transfer to my phone, but I did it differently this time) and now when I sync'd my iphone to my computer, my songs on my iphone disappeared. What is going on? I can't figure out how to get them back on my phone. If I try to redownload them on my phone it asks me if I would like to purchase them again. Information: 3gs
I had some music from CDs on my iPad and deleted them, but after a couple days, it showed them trying to redownload, but they can't because they aren't from iTunes and I can't delete them again, because they are still trying to download.... What do I do? Info: iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 7.1.2
I've updated my iPad to OS5 and as expected I've lost all my installed apps but they where transferred to my PC's itunes beforehand. Now I know I can redownload all my apps for Free but I have a download allowance of 10GB per month, which is already tight. I presume the apps are actually stored on my PC, so how can I get them all back on my iPad without having to redownload them from the internet?
digital copies have an expiration date (most of them anyway) & I really don't have much space on my computer to fit all the movies (I think I'm literally down to 3GB). So am I able to download the digital copy to my Mac, delete it from iTunes & the computer to free up the space & then re-download at a later date as long as I'm using the same iTunes login? Also, would this work if I got a new Mac & tried to re-download to that?
All the digital booklets I have (all four of them) are gorgeously designed and seem to be a perfect fit for an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad screen. But, I know that these booklets don't sync to my iPhone. Does anyone know if they will be viewable on the more desktop-like iPod application on the iPad?
with the latest Madonna LP I downloaded via pre-order the Deluxe LP & Digitall booklet of which HAS not downloaded. The first time this happened was with Placebo's Angkor Wat LP now I will not download any more from iTunes till this is sorted as very annoyed with the situation and so far have had no joy as to what the problem is or the solution.I will order from HMV online and get the psychical format instead.
i seem to be having a bluetooth challenge in not getting all the drivers.on my desktop (win 7/64bit) i am connected and can transfer files just fine. it took a while but finally all the drivers kicked in after a number of attempts.however, on my booklet 3g, win7/32bit, i cannot send files from my n900 to my booklet, only FROM my booklet. seems no matter what i do i cannot get my booklet to load the additional drivers.in lookin on my phone in the bluetooth settings between what is different:on my desktop connection under supported profies: a2dp, ftp, hsp, opp and on my booklet connection under supprted profies: *blank* so i think the issue is obvious there. but i dont understand why the phone is not sending the bluetooth drivers or the booklet is not being able to find the drivers to make my transfers work correctly.i have tried going to broadcom and downloading the latest driver package (did this for my desktop) but when i launch it, it doesnt even find my bluetooth adapter in my booklet, says to turn it on, but no matter what i do, (it is on) it will not recognize it to move on...

I recently downloaded Safari 5 and found that half my videos within iTunes lost their visual content (I still had sound on them) so I decided to do a Restore to a date before I downloaded Safari 5. I went into Applications; dragged iTunes to the Trash along with the Dock icon and then went into Time Machine, chose a date a couple of days before I loaded Safari 5 and used Restore to bring back iTunes. When I tried to open it, however, I got the message: "The file "iTunes Library" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes" and now I can't open it at all!! I tried to open the original version by dragging it out of Trash onto the Desktop but all I got was a message: "You can't open the application iTunes.app because it may be damaged or incomplete". So now I have no iTunes that I can open at all. Information: iMac 2.66GH Duo + Mac Book Mac OS X (10.6.4) Western Digital 500GB back-up drive; iPod.
I purchased a TV series in the iTunes store and there is no audio on one of the TV episodes and it is out of sync in another episode by about 3 seconds. I have confirmed that it is the video files themselves that are to blame since iTunes and quicktime on 3 different machines all have the same problem. I need to be able to redownload these episodes, but iTunes does not allow multiple downloads without paying for them again. Since iTunes never delivered the files correctly in the first place, there should be an exception in this case and I be allowed to redownload the two episodes again. Can someone please advise on the best course of action, or who to contact to achieve this. I have purchased several movies and paid for the digital copies which now reside on computer. The phone says to redownload or sync but then prompts me that these files are protected digital files again. I have legally purchased the digital copy and wish to watch them on the phone, why will it not play them?
Earlier today I downloaded a TV episode of iTunes but once it was finished downloading, I clicked play and the entire 45 minutes of the episode was just a gray screen, no audio. I left my computer while it was downloading, so there is a possibility that my computer could have gone into sleep mode while it was downloading, which would probably disrupt the download. All I want to know is how I can redownload my episode without having to repurchase it on iTunes. I do have money on iTunes, but I would prefer not to was an additional $3. And if it's of any importance, I was using iTunes 9 when I downloaded this. Information: iBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.11)
Similar to those album booklets you get with iTunes, is there a easy way to do it in OS X on putting together an album booklet pdf? I am creating a promotional item for my website I am getting around to build and thought it would be a cool idea.
I received the following email this weekend. It seems very suspicious and was curious if anyone else has received one? I have no idea why I would have received this as I haven't redeemed a digital copy from a DVD for quite some time. I can't even remember which one it might have been. If this were a legit email from Apple don't you think they would have indicated which specific movie or title I may have encountered a problem with? from iTunes Store <iTunesStoreSupport@apple.com>; to Robert <firstname.lastname@example.org>; date Fri, Jul 2, 2010 at 1:55 PM subject Re: Your iTunes Store Order mailed-byapple.com hide details Jul 2 (4 days ago) Dear Robert, Thank you for your interest in Apple products. I have about 10 digital download movies that came with my blu-rays but at the time I had my iPhone so I never thought about it. Well, I'm a MAC guy and I downloaded them in iTunes which was perfect having an iPhone. But now with getting my EVO is there a way to get those Downloads to work on the EVO? Or is it DRM'd only for Apple devices? And in the future is there a way to download them without iTunes on a MAC?

When I went back to the store and clicked purchase again I got that message. So I went to Purchases and tapped on Redownload. I got the same message again!

I noticed in Itunes Movie, those HD video on sale or rent carries Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. I thought Ipad only play AAC? Does that means these HD videos available in Itunes Store can't be play on Ipad or Ipad in fact can play Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track? Windows 7
I have downloaded two books via iBooks on my iPad 2. But the books showing option to redownload while I go to store/purchases option. When I try to redownload it, the image will go into the library and a window will appear on the screen. The window will contain a message to redownload the books again. Just updated to iTunes 10 but the iTunes U sort problem is not fixed yet. I even deleted many of my course and redownload them and the sort order of the class are still scrambled. It's ok on the iTunes Store - iTunes U listing on the university (I'm partial to MIT and Yale course) but when they are download to my iTunes on my MacBook, the course sequence are scrambled. Since you cannot make a playlist from iTunesU, the only workaround is to convert them to PodCasts, then make a playlist and then resort them! This bug showed up on iTunes 9.0 and has not been fixed. E.g. try downloading the audio for the Yale University course by prof Dale Martin (scrambled really badly) or the audio for the MIT course by prof Paul Bloom (only a couple of lectures scrambled order.) I cannot play downloaded TV shoes from iTunes. I get this message: "This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)". I read ebooks in epub format I have downloaded from public library on the iPad? They are valid for 7 days, I can open them with Adobe Digital Edition. I get them into iTunes, I even get them on the iPad. But I am getting an error message when I try to open them with iBook. If iBook can't read them, is there another app I could use?
I have read to sync/backup on one then restore on other and that makes sense. However, can we just log in on the second device (iTunes) and redownload app? Like I have an iPad if I take an app off I can put it back on by going to AppStore and trying to buy again, it allows redownload. Does this happen on second device or is redownload tied to serial #? The reason I ask is we're getting a second iPad but the first will be on a trip when the second is delivered. We plan to backup before the trip but for ease I had the idea of just logging in. We'd be having the same iTunes login regardless so would it work?

I am able to download iTunes U classes via the iTunes app on my iPad, and listen to them on my iPad via iTunes.Once I sync my iPad to iTunes on my Mac Book Pro, I lose iTunes U on the iPad app.I am completely confused by this.I have even created a Smart Playlist on my MacBook's iTunes called Speech (for iTunes U) and sync'd it to my iPad. The playlist shows up on the iPad, but nothing is in it.Am I just an idiot? or am I missing something? I don't want to have to redownload a class every time to have it on my iPad.Information : Mac Mini/iPad.
Earlier today I bought an app and downloaded it to my work machine, because it was on sale and I wanted to get it before the price went back up. I couldn't just grab it on my phone because it's 40 mb and I don't have access to wifi at work. But usually in this case, I'm able to grab it at work and then redownload it when I get home, since itunes knows I already bought it, etc. However, the app is now gone from the app store and I'm not sure when it'll be back. it's the "Family Feud" game so I'm sure it won't be gone forever, but if it takes them a month to put it back- I'd kind of like to be able to use it before then. Since I can't sync my iphone with my work computer (it's only set up for my home computer) I'm not sure how i'm actually going to get the game onto my phone. Can't sync to the computer it's on, can't download to the computer i can sync with, etc.
Apple generously gave me a refund recently when there was a problem with my iTunes download. But do the artists still get paid in these circumstances? The support employee couldn't tell me. Does anyone here know? The support employee seemed evasive and was trying to get me to stop corresponding. The only problem was with the digital booklet; i had the music, and it was great, and I was happy to pay for it. So I'd hate to think that that's a lost sale for the band because there's a problem with a file on Apple's servers. Information: Windows XP Pro
