My jailbroken IPAD 3G 64GB suddenly decided to go to the "Connect to Itunes" screen. The first time, I rebooted it and it was ok and came back to regular mode. After a few hours, its gone back to the "Connect to Itunes" screen, and this time, I have tried to connect it to itunes on my computer (to which it regularly gets synced) but as the ipad is password locked, the computer refuses to connect to it saying that the ipad is locked, and cannot be synced.

I use my iPad to edit music on my Desktop by Syncing it with iTunes. But from last week onwards I am facing a very strange problem i.e. Every time I try to connect to iTunes from my iPad 2, I am prompted with a message stating Cannot Connect to iTunes Store. How can I fix this??
When I couldn't connect to the App Store on my iPad but could connect on my iPod touch and MacBook, I checked the discussions on failure to connect to iTunes and they didn't help, although someone there suggested it might just be a title page problems.Just under 24 hours, I realized that the problem had occurred when I clicked on a link from an iTunes store receipt in my e-mail. So I clicked on a link to one of the suggested applications in e receipt and that opened connecting me to the App Store. Then for a moment I couldn't connect to the iTunes store. Once I could connect to the App Store and iTunes store, I turned the iPad on and off. A problem first occurred in trying to download Pages when I received a message requiring me to re- register my IPad. Whether Apple got my message and fixed it within 24 hours or I fixed it I can't tell.
got ipad 2 wifi and 3g today. Got home all excited, connected to my wifi fine and check emails and browse safari no problem, however when i go to the app store and click install on an app i get 'cannot connect to store'. Also when i connect to itunes i cannot register the ipad and it says try again later. I have restored the ipad but it has made no difference!

I get a screen message : "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"To be clear i can connect to iTunes through my Macbook Pro and use it to house keep on the iPad etc.If I go to Settings>Store>View Account on the iPad, I get a screen message telling me: We are unable to find iTunes on your computer. There are two option boxes: 1 Open iTunes. 2. Download iTunes.
I have been getting this error message for at least a day now. I attributed it to the iPad launch and figured the iTunes servers were overloaded, but my friends are able to connect. I thought perhaps ports were blocked by my apartment's WiFi, but I CAN access the iTunes store on my iPhone and the leasing manager says he can access iTunes just fine, no problems. Obviously my Internet connection is active because I am posting this message and everything else works fine online. I just can't connect to the iTunes store. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes per the support article from Apple. And the only thing I could find was this thread: But that relates to PCs and nothing there fixes my issue. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.3 and whatever the latest version of iTunes is (I just downloaded it from itunes.com ten minutes ago). I have repaired disk permissions and cannot figure out why I cannot connect to the store. Information: 27" iMac i5 Mac OS X (10.6.3) 2.66 Core i5 8 GB RAM 1 TB HD

My Son gave me a new iPad 2 WiFi 3G cellular.I set it up with my personal password as numerical. When I setup the Good Technology to access my company's email, the system asked for another password to log in.I got confused with the password to access my companies email and the login password for my iPad. I've attempted the passwords I thought I created and the system has now locked me out due to too many attempts.I haven't had it long enough to sync with iTunes or anything. So when I connect via USB cables from my laptop to the iPad having already logged into iTunes, my iPad does not show up in devices and the message says iTunes cannot connect to my iPad and needs a password. When I press the white wake/sleep button, the display message is: iPad is disabled connect to iTunes.

It is kind of locked because it is full - Mail is always crashing, in Settings under Mail it says "Accounts are currently syncing." I have an iMac with OSX 10.6.8, iTunes 10.6.3 - everything is up to date. Home networking is using my wireless router - Cisco Linksys E4200. Home sharing is turned on as I also have an Apple TV2 that works fine - all using the same Apple store ID and password. iMac sharing has File Sharing turned ON iPad can connect to wireless network (can get on internet, email, Apple Store), can sync to iTunes via wireless. When I try to access my iMac iTunes library for videos and music - the iPad tries, then kicks me back out to the main screen. It sees my shared library, tries to connect, but cannot establish a connection. Error message = "Unable to Turn On Home Sharing" I tried the Troubleshooting steps in the knowledgebase including wiping network setting from iPad and redoing, rebooting wireless router while iPad was on, firewall turned off on the iMac, turning off/on Home Sharing on iMac. All devices are on my home 192.168.1 x subnet So in a nutshell - Home Sharing works to my Apple TV2 but not my iPad2.

I bought Ipad 2 (16 GB), downloaded latest version of itunes and connected the ipad to my laptop a week ago. It worked fine, itunes detected it, I registered at app store (but didn't register the ipad yet). Today, I restored factory settings on Ipad 2 and tried to connect it to a different laptop (don't have access to the first laptop anymore). I again downloaded the new version of itunes and then connected it. Nothing is happening. The ipad turns on for a second so I can see the image of white usb chord and itunes symbol. but itunes on my laptop doesn't read it. Since I restored factory settings, the Ipad now gives only that screen of white usb chord to be plugged in the itunes symbol whether it is connected to the laptop or not. I even gave the current laptop authorization from itunes ("authorize this computer"). I'm using Windows 7

When I connect my iPad to my iMac to sync I get an error message that "some of the videos in your iTunes library were not copied to the ipad because they cannot be played on this iPad". The dialog box then lists the names of the episodes that can not be downloaded. I tried downloading them from the "purchased" list in my iTunes account on the iPad but this particular show is not displayed in the list. The videos were purchased directly from iTunes and play just fine on my iMac as well as through my Apple TV.I also have the HD version of Season 1 and it synced up just fine. This is also happening with another TV series that I purchased in iTunes (Kids in The Hall - Death Comes to Town) but the weird part is that half of the episodes synced to my ipad and play fine but the remaining 4 episodes are listed along with the other un-syncable tv shows in the error message that appears when I sync. I just got an ipad (yay!) and went to itunes and bought a bunch of apps. I synched my ipad. No apps I bought on my screen. I restarted and re-synched my ipad. I cannot find my apps anywhere on my ipad other than what appear to have come with it (like safari & itunes). I try to go to itunes or the app store apps and it refuses to connect to them without a cellular plan. I may be mistaken, but I don't think I need to purchase a cellular plan to use the applications I already purchased and downloaded to my ipad. That doesn't make any sense.
My iPad mini 2 is in DFU mode, I followed the normal process with opening up iTunes to start the restore process. The moment the iPad is connected, it restarts and iTunes shuts down and won't re-open while the iPad is connected. I have also tried disconnecting and re-connecting and the same thing happens. I tested iTunes with my iPhone connected and there are no issues. It would seem it's related to the iPad in DFU mode...? Info: iPad, iOS 7.1.2

My iPad 3 is stuck in an iTunes recovery mode loop. the problem started when the tablet fell and just went black. I tried to restore it because at the time my iTunes could quickly recognise it and when it did the iPad made a sound after 5 seconds. after running the restore process on it over 4 times, nothing changed. I read a review saying you whack it on the back about 3 times and this worked and the first thing that showed on the screen was the battery with a small red bar left. it then switched to the apple logo then it went black. it kept doing this so I forced it into DFU mode by pressing together SLEEP and HOME buttons. When i connect my iPad to either a wall charger or PC, after about 5 minutes the screen show the battery in red then the apple logo followed by the connect to iTunes screen. The connect to iTunes screen stays on for about 2 minutes and then it goes black and the same thing happens again. This time when I connect it to iTunes, I have to wait for it to run through the same process (battery in red then the apple logo followed by the connect to iTunes screen) iTunes then picks it with a message telling me to restore it. I downloaded the lasts iOS 7.1.2 externally and I have been trying to restore it but every time iTunes shows, 'waiting for iPad' the iPad goes black and I keep getting different error messages like error 4005, 11, 2002 afterwards. I cannot put it in recovery mode so that it is recognised immediately I connect it to my PC because it wont respond. I have tried pressing the sleep/wake button together with the Home button but there is nothing happening. I tried holding the home button as I connect it to the PC but the iTunes logo still wont show. Info: iPad 3, iOS 7.1.2
